Silent Night: time for reflection
It’s that time of year when we like to look back and reflect. Maybe we’re thankful for our blessings. Maybe we’re contemplating poor decisions we’ve made or new relationships we’d like to develop. We think of the things we would do better, the things we might change, the things we hope to leave behind.
I’m including a video today with images of my past year (actually the past 15 months) as my way of reflecting over this time. A lot happened to me–I was very ill, lost a dog, published a book, made a lot of new friends… I hope you’ll enjoy the music and think about your last year.
Believe it or not, the song was recorded in someone’s home studio by Emilie Swanson (my niece) and Brian Livingston (her friend) a couple of years ago when they were in high school. It’s really lovely. The first image is of Emilie. Enjoy.
