Teaching English as a Second Language
For the next three months, I’ve paired up with a missions center here in Richmond to help team teach a small class of students. They are here to learn intermediate/advanced English vocabulary, grammar, and American culture. The students come from Burkina Faso, Brazil, and Guatemala. All six of them have had very different experiences and speak and read English at different levels–a great challenge. But they are bright and have great humor so I know the class is going to be a lot of fun. Stay tuned for some pictures and updates on the class. It’s going to be an adventure…
