A medical romance and inspirational fan, I picked up Wilkinson’s first Love Inspired when I learned the hero was a flight surgeon with PTSD. As I started reading the story of Justin Winters and Becky Kirkpatrick, the pregnant widow who was married to Justin’s estranged friend, I realized this book was more than a simple mix of two genres. A hero to make the reader sigh, a strong but vulnerable heroine, a family feud, a dash of suspense, finely crafted secondary characters, Wilkinson’s warm style and excellent pace combined to create a truly enjoyable lesson in forgiveness and moving forward. I hope the author, who has written Love Inspired
Suspense, will continue to write more for the Love Inspired line.
